Jenny Berkowitz

Jenny Berkowitz is originally from Blue Hill, Maine. She holds a B.A from Goucher College where studied choreography, dance therapy, and Peace Studies. Her passion for learning dance, meeting new people, and being immersed in different cultures led her to Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, and Italy. She believes that moment is an important vehicle for communication. This inspires her to use the healing properties of movement and the joy of performances to help improve her own and others’ lives. In Baltimore, she has had the privilege to perform with artists such as VT Dance, Effervescent Collective, and Shmib Dance.
