Easter & Elwood Improv

Effervescent celebrated the spring holidays with feel good improv and a visit from upright bassist Ross Gallagher. Ross - who grew up with Effervescent member Jenny Berkowitz in Blue Hill, Maine - was visiting from NYC to see about incorporating dance into his senior concert at the New School (4/16/10 9 pm). We really enjoyed messing around with Elwood, his ancient, beat-up, well-loved bass. Our little jam was a warm, relaxed, sharing of music and movement. Check it out here.
