New Classes at Lumberhaus

6 December 2010

NEW CLASS in Dec!: Isa Leal brings her magic to Lumberhaus with two new classes. Starting this week!

Wednesdays 7:30- 9:00
Contact Improvisation (all levels, no experience dancing needed)

How can we trust ourselves and others in a dynamic movement form? Contact Improvisation is a meditative and acrobatic practice that can be best described as encouraging two bodies in space to play with momentum, gravity and inertia. This class uses visualization and zen philosophy.

Friday 10am -12 pm
Authentic Movement ( a meditative movement practice)

This class will unfold as we do, as we hold the space of support for our personal explorations we will move (and not move) in various forms. One on one , trio and group 'witnessing' will lead to finding support through 'active witnessing'. We will focus on how this form affects our improvisations and our visceral connection with self.
