Dance Metro DC recently updated their website. It's the bomb. It makes all kinds of dance more readily accessable. You don't have to join a private studio or pay a yearly membership fee to have access to the kind of info that builds audiences: where to take class and where to see dance. Dance professionals can sign up for a membership for access to marketing and promotional services.
The folks that run this organization are amazing, generous, and communicative.
Baltimore will have something similar soon. I promise! Our Ignite Grant we won back in October is going towards building B'more Dance Hub - a web resource for dancing in Baltimore. Expected to Launch at the start of 2011!
