Hounddog Vs. Golddigger

Hounddog vs Golddigger was presented at Goucher College April 18 &19th, 2008.

This project is an opportunity for Lily to put into practice her research on binary racism and dance traditions in America. Lily's research on the topic has been compiled into the article: Movement Knowledge as a Technology of Power: Dance as a Racializing Binary.

Sponsored by an Innovation Grant from Goucher Collegel, the performance sparked such curiosity that the collective dancers decided to present an encore performance the following week. If we had another $3,000, we'd love to do it again.
